After walking home with a cool quarter of a million last Saturday night (April 23), Victorian master trainer Graeme Bate has again dominated the Wentworth Park circuit winning all four heats of Saturday's (April 30) Evans & Son Jewellers Group Two Ladies Bracelet heats (520m).
Bate who trained this year's Macro Meats Golden Easter Egg winner, Radley Bale (pictured), qualified a sensational five runners for next Saturday's (May 7) final, which will see the winner pocket $25,000.
Heat three winner Shereen Bale the fastest of the Bate qualifiers, winning her heat in 29.79 from box one.
While the time was not as impressive as her kennelmate Tonneli Bale's 29.99 win was an impressive effort, having to work to pick up early leader Sienna's Delight.
Drawing box one in the final Tonneli Bale is likely to start favourite for the event ahead of Shereen Bale which has drawn box two.
Tonneli Bale and Shereen Bale are joined by fellow heat winners Wongawilli Wala and Darya Bale, as well as Thecla Bale which finish second behind Wongawilli Wala in heat one.
Box draw for the 2011 Evans & Son Jewellers is as follows:
Racing outside of the four heats of the Ladies Bracelet saw Did I Entertain record his 24th Wentworth Park win, now one away from equalling Stately's Bird's record of most wins at the Glebe circuit.
Wentworth Park returns on Friday night for more great racing action, prior to Saturday night's meeting which will be headlined by the Evans & Son Jewellers Ladies Bracelet.
Entry for all women is free, with the opportunity to win a stunning ladies bracelet thanks to event sponsors Evans & Son Jewellers.
