Do You Think You Can Score?
The NSW GBOTA will conduct it's exciting Soccer penalty shoot-out competition “Do You Think You Can Score?” next on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Wentworth Park.
First conducted back in March 2012, the initial "Do You Think You Can Score?" saw five people end up $1,000 richer, while on November 3, $12,000 was paid out. Now we are getting ready to do it all again.
The concept, which was developed by on course bookmaker Sam Vardakas, will see 20 contestants drawn to take one penalty, shot each, for the chance win $1,000 in cold hard cash.
With $20,000 on offer contestants will have the task of scoring against NSW Premier League goal keeper Nathan Denham in order to win.
All paying customers will receive a competition ticket on entry to the Glebe circuit, with gates open from 5.30pm and entries set to be drawn at after Race 4. The competition is this time open to those 16 years and above.
Those looking to attend the evening are encouraged to use public transport including the Light Rail which stops along Wattle Street, our Bus Services which stop along Parramatta Road, Broadway or Glebe Point Road, Glebe both about a 5-10 minute walk to the venue.
