Public holidays can affect nomination closing times:  Amended nominations closing times apply around various public holidays and trainers should carefully check GRNSW notifications which are issued from time to time.

Nominations for Saturday meetings at Wentworth Park close Tuesday prior at 9 am. Wentworth Park is listed as first drawn and therefore should always be listed as top preference where participants are nominating for Wentworth Park / Richmond / Gardens.

Box Draw

The box draw is conducted by the GRNSW following close of nominations. Box draw is typically released the afternoon following nomination close and grading. Draws can be found on this website, under racing info tab, or alternatively at or


Scratchings are taken by GRNSW on 1300 797 538 call between 8am and 4pm Mon - Fri and 8am and 10am weekends.  DEADLINE FOR SCRATCHINGS 9.00am the day of the race meeting.  Scratchings that are faxed WILL NOT be accepted.

Kenneling & Kennels

There is a veterinary service at all race meetings. The kennel block is air-conditioned and the kennels are on one level.

Where 11 races are drawn, no reserve trials will be conducted


Wentworth Park follows GRNSW swabbing procedures and withholds prize money greater than $6000 when swabs are undertaken. Prize money is paid following clearance of swab.

Other Information  

There are no camping facilities for travelling trainers, nor are there kennels available for the greyhounds.

Travel & Entry


Entry to Wentworth Park race meetings for Adults is $6.00. Children under 18 are free when accompanied by a responsible adult for most events but there are exceptions. Conditions apply.


Parking is available adjacent to the grounds - entrance off Wentworth Park Road.  Parking fee of $15 applies.

If anyone who uses the car park feels anxious about leaving the track, the car park staff are available to escort them to their vehicles. Please approach the staff directly when you leave the track and they will  provide this service.

Trainers using this car park are asked to assist in the following matters:
1 Comply with directions of staff 
2 Park in the designated areas only
3 Clean up after your dog to ensure that droppings are not left in the area, so that other users of this public space are not inconvenienced.

NOTE: Council has indicated that Rangers will be employed from time to time to ensure compliance and fines are likely for offenders.

GBOTA also provides for race night trainers to park internally via Wattle Street gate. Parking fee GBOTA members is complimentary on presentation of member card, or $15. 


Wentworth Park GBOTA currently has up to four bookmakers operating on Fridays and Saturdays with full TAB Totalisator services in the bistro and  ground floor. Depending on demand, TAB Totalisator facilities will be provided for the level 1 function centre.,

Any bookmaker offering odds against a greyhound shall be compelled to lay such odds if demanded by the taker, but so that the bookmaker shall not be compelled to lose more than $1500 on any one wager.

Under NSW Legislation, smoking is not permitted in spectator areas. Please speak to staff on course as to designated smoking areas

Wentworth Park Food & Beverage outlets accept cards however TAB are cash only. Please note there are no ATMs on course however limited Eftpos facilities are available at the Race Night Office.
